The class was incredibly helpful in providing a clear understanding of my current knowledge level. However, it’s not the best choice for complete beginners due to its fast pace and limited time for in-depth exploration of topics. If the course had been a week longer, it would have been much more beneficial for novice participants, given the vast amount of information they need to absorb. John, the professor, was an excellent teacher. Unfortunately, the time constraints of the course restricted his ability to teach in the way he would have preferred. The module quizzes and PBQS were the standout features of this program. They were challenging yet manageable, making them an excellent way to test and reinforce learning. As someone who prefers to immerse myself in the learning process, I highly recommend taking the self-paced course. The modules provide a wealth of resources, including videos, passages, quizzes, and PBQS, all at a fraction of the cost of a traditional course. I’m not sure if the course includes the test voucher and retake credit, but if it does, you can save a significant amount of money. These vouchers are worth around $1000. Overall, I had a great experience with this company. The customer service was prompt, responsive, and helpful at all times. And would definitely recommend this to a friend a colleague. I will probably do the Network course through them as well when the time is right.

The PowerPoints and exam study notes, especially the tips, tricks, key takeaways, and CRISC insights, really helped shape my mindset going into the exam. Needless to say, I successfully PASSED my exam. Hands down, the absolute best choice I could've made. Cyberkraft offers exam preparation courses for a myriad of Certifications, not just Security+. The curriculum can be a bit daunting but thats a great thing, no fluff. Can I apply for a waiver for the experience requirements?

A waiver can be acquired for several types of experience, with a maximum of up to three years waived. A two year college degree can be substituted for one year of experience. A four year college degree can be substituted for two year’s of experience. A maximum of one year of information systems experience or one year of non-IS auditing experience can also be substituted for one year of work experience.
