This policy establishes our commitment to environmental responsibility and continuous improvement in support of a more sustainable future.
2. Scope
This policy applies to Cyberkraft’s operations, employees, contractors, and, where appropriate, vendors and business partners whose activities support our business operations.
3. Policy Statement
Cyberkraft recognizes that greenhouse gas emissions contribute to climate change and that businesses have a role to play in reducing their environmental impact. We are committed to:
- Measuring and understanding the primary sources of our greenhouse gas emissions where practical
- Reducing emissions associated with business operations, travel, energy use, procurement, and digital infrastructure where feasible
- Encouraging environmentally responsible practices among employees, partners, and suppliers
- Complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations related to emissions and sustainability
- Continually improving our practices as our organization grows and our capabilities evolve
4. Objectives
Cyberkraft will work to support the following objectives:
A. Reduce Energy Consumption
We will seek to reduce energy use across our offices, training environments, and administrative operations by promoting efficient equipment usage, energy-conscious workplace practices, and responsible facility management.
B. Minimize Travel-Related Emissions
Where business needs allow, Cyberkraft will prioritize virtual meetings, remote collaboration, and online training delivery to reduce emissions associated with employee commuting and business travel.
C. Promote Sustainable Procurement
When practical, Cyberkraft will consider environmental factors in purchasing decisions, including energy-efficient equipment, reduced-waste office supplies, and vendors that demonstrate responsible environmental practices.
D. Reduce Waste
Cyberkraft will encourage digital workflows, reduced paper consumption, proper recycling practices where available, and thoughtful disposal of electronic equipment and materials.
E. Support Continuous Improvement
Cyberkraft will periodically review its greenhouse gas reduction efforts and identify practical opportunities to improve performance over time.
5. Implementation Commitments
To support this policy, Cyberkraft may take actions such as:
- Encouraging remote work and virtual service delivery when appropriate
- Selecting energy-efficient laptops, monitors, servers, and office equipment when replacing or upgrading technology
- Reducing unnecessary printing and favoring secure digital documentation
- Consolidating shipments and purchasing activities where possible
- Reviewing travel practices and encouraging alternatives to unnecessary air or vehicle travel
- Exploring the environmental practices of key suppliers and service providers
- Raising employee awareness of environmentally responsible practices
6. Roles and Responsibilities
Leadership
Cyberkraft leadership is responsible for supporting this policy, promoting accountability, and integrating practical sustainability considerations into business decisions where appropriate.
Employees and Contractors
Employees and contractors are expected to support this policy by following operational practices that reduce waste, conserve energy, and minimize avoidable emissions in the course of their work.
Operations and Procurement Personnel
Personnel involved in facilities, purchasing, travel, or vendor decisions should consider opportunities to reduce emissions and improve environmental performance where commercially reasonable.
7. Monitoring and Review
Cyberkraft will review this policy periodically and update it as needed to reflect changes in operations, legal requirements, customer expectations, and sustainability best practices. As practical, Cyberkraft may also track relevant environmental measures to support internal improvement efforts.
8. Compliance
Cyberkraft will comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations relevant to its operations. Any concerns regarding noncompliance or opportunities for improvement may be reported to company leadership.
